Safe Driving Coalition

We are EXCITED to announce we have received a grant from the Elkhart County Community Foundation!!  This money will be used to launch the “Community Health Initiative,”  an awareness campaign addressing the risk taking behaviors of teen drivers.  This program will strive to create educated and responsible teen drivers.  The program identifies parents, educators, community involvement, and government leaders as key players in influencing teens to drive safely and avoid risks behind the wheel.  It’s time we ALL stand up and say…”We aren’t going to take it…”  Not one more teen death!

The rising fuel costs are hitting us hard!!  We are struggling everyday to keep our prices lowest in the area.  We pride ourselves on our quality program and our prices.  However, Due to the rising fuel we are in REAL danger.  A great fundraising program:  DONATE YOUR CAR!!  This is great!!  Our goal…10 vehicles per month.  If we get 10 vehicles per month this would give us the money for the fuel, and money for our vehicle fund to keep up on the maintenance, and new vehicle fund.   If you would like to donate your vehicle or have other suggestions please call us…533-9493  or our Elkhart Number: 970-7806

We are working with INDEA, AAA, and other organizations to tighten up Indiana Graduated Driver Licensing Program.  This site gives you as parents a voice.  Tell us what you think. 

We need you!  Volunteers are always needed to help with office duties, phones, reading tests to students, grading, writing grants, grant research, help with sponsorships, community events, organize parent meetings, etc.  Have an idea you would like us to add.  Just let us know.  We are alway looking for ways to improve the program and encourage student and parent involvement.
