Our Mission

Partners for Safe Driving Coalition is a community health initiative aimed at reducing the incidences of teenage automobile crashes, injuries and fatalities in Indiana by assisting school divisions and communities develop and implement local Partners for Safe Driving Coalition programs.  The program teaches parents about the:

  1. newest driving techniques
  2. how to coach their teenagers as they learn to drive
  3. Indiana’s driving laws and teen restrictions
  4. automobile insurance as it relates to teenage drivers

"For the past month I have felt like this was a type of home for me. The people who work here aren’t like normal school teachers, the employees at teh driving school get to know you on a more personal level. They take your opinions in to consideration and let you enjoy your time here.
The school taught me how to be a more responsible person. Before, I was afraid of driving. Now that I have encountered several classes and driving with the instructor I feel more prepared for the real world. I am still afraid of the “what if” situations, but its something that all people have to live with and I feel if I were put in that situation like that I would be prepared of what to do in case tha does happen.
My experience here has been GREAT! It was a blast, and I learned a lot. Thanks for all of the dedication to getting know me."


 

 


   

IMPORTANT NEWS!! 

 

Our Final Good-bye.  John and Tammy are leaving Safe Driving as of July 6, 2009.  We will miss all of our loyal customers.  Tammy will be moving on to Senior Concierge Services.  Ed Stustman will be taking over as the director.  Thank you to all our friends for your support and trust throughout the years.  

 

TBA:  Drive Tests 

We only do drive tests on specific dates. 

Twice a month.  Please plan accordingly. 

Please call the office to schedule: Drive tests take approx. 20 min.  Fee: $25.00 Only at the Elkhart Location.  You may pay in advance through our website. 

 

Drive Time:  Please Be patient during the summer months.  This is our busy season, we are accomidating everyone as fast as we can.  However, Safety is our FIRST  priority.  For this reason no more than 1 or 2 drive times per week.  Also, we limit our drivers on daily hours behind the wheel.   It may slow down the process but feel it is the best way to keep your teen safe, behind the wheel.

The vision of Partners for Safe Teen Driving is to educate parents and teenage drivers with an emphasis and commitment to safe and responsible driving.
